唐贞观九年,天主教的聂斯托利派(景教),沿丝绸之路,传入了甘肃。 元朝,也里可温教,主要在甘肃的河西地区传播。 明末耶稣会的万密克等传教士,不时从西安教区来甘肃的武威、张掖等地,布道传教,并修建了简易教堂。 清康熙五十一年,方济各会麦传世来兰州和武威传教,在武威建堂传教达十九年。清光绪四年,圣母圣心会大规模来甘肃传教,先后有韩默理、陶福音、费达德主持教务,把甘肃划分为陇东教区和陇南教区,传播福音,到1922年,圣母圣心会离开甘肃时,有教堂30座、教徒10811人。 1922年,圣言会接替了圣母圣心会在甘肃的工作,德国人濮登博为主教,他改“南北制”为“东西制”,把甘肃划分为兰州主教区(包括武威总铎区、张掖总铎区、陇南总铎区、陇西总铎区)、天水教区、和平凉教区,到1953年,圣言会离开甘肃时,建有教堂192座,教徒3万多人,修道院4所,医院33所,小学18所。 综上所述,天主教在甘肃的传播,不但历史悠久,而且规模庞大。本文结合新翻译的外文教会资料和地方志档案资料,试从传教的背景、传教的目的,传教的方法、传教的内容、传教的经费来源、传教的结果和本土化,对天主教在甘肃的传播史进行多角度、全方位的探讨和研究,以鉴往知来,有资于治道。
The ZhenGuan reign nine year of Tang Dynasty, Nestorianism streamed into the GanSu provinc along the Silk Road. Yuan Dynasty, Nestorianism main spread in HeXi regine of GanSu. The end period of Ming Dynasty , some Missionaries in Society of Jesus,such as WanMike sometimes came to WuWei and ZhangYe to preach from the XiAn Diocese, and set up simple church. The KangXi reign fifty one year of Qing Dynasty, MoChuanshi of Franciscan Order came to LanZhou and WuWei to preach. The GuangXu reign four year ,Congregation of Immaculate Heart of Mary came to GanSu to spreach in scale. HanMoli,TaoFuying and FeiDade became Pontifex in turns. GanSu Diocese was divided into LongDong Diocese and LongNan Diocese .When it depart GanSu inl922,there was thrity church and ten thousand and eghite hundred and ten one Catholics. In 1922,Steyl Missions takeovered the work from Congregation of Immaculate Heart of Mary.Germany PuDengbo undertake Pontifex.He changed "South-north system" into "east-west system",and GanSu Diocese was divided into LanZhuo Diocese (inclod WuWei,ZhangYe,LongNan,LongXi ). When it departed GanSu in 1953,there was one hundred and ninty two church and thirty thousand Catholics, four ,thirty three hospitals and eghity schools. In sum, the Catholic spread not only the history is long, but also the scale is huge in GanSu.This thesis used the newly translated Eglish material and local file material to research the history of Catholic in GanSu from the background of preach, the purpose of preach, the method of preach, the contents ]of preach, the economical resource of preach, the result of preach and localization. the aim is to how manage Catholic through research its history in GanSu.
