复活节(主复活日，Easters)是北美重要节日，在每年春分月圆之后第一个星期日。基督徒认为，复活节象征着重生与希望，为纪念耶稣基督于公元30到33年之间被钉死在十字架之后第三天复活的日子。复活节，如很多节日一样都有着自己的传统和习俗。

复活兔(邦尼兔)
The Easter Bunny or Easter Hare is a character depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs, who sometimes is depicted with clothes. In legend, the creature brings baskets filled with colored eggs, candy and sometimes also toys to the homes of children of Christmas, as they both bring gifts to children on the night before their respective holiday.
依据欧洲古老的传说，野兔是一种终日不闭眼的动物。它们能在黑夜里，观看四周其它的动物，因此，野兔就代表着黑夜中一轮皎洁的明月。再加上复活节日子的计算是以春天月圆为基准于是就将春天繁殖力强的野兔视为复活节的一个象征。这习俗传入美国后，美国人还为兔子取了一个可爱的名字，叫它复活节的邦尼兔！
复活节彩蛋
Easter eggs are special eggs that are often given to celebrate Easter or springtime.The egg is a pagan symbol of the rebirth of the Earth in celebrations of spring and was adopted by early Christians as a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus.
蛋象征新生命。坚硬的蛋壳无法限制里面正在孕育的新生命。耶稣基督为了我们的罪而钉死在十字架上，葬在坟墓里，但坟墓无法关住他。他第三天复活了，使凡相信他的人，因此而得到新的生命。蛋，便成为复活节常用的象征物之一。蛋乃意味着春天的到来及新生命的诞生，并象征着耶稣从死里复活走出石墓。
复活节百合花
Lily stands for the holiness and purity. Flowers blooming near the Easter Day seem to tell us the good news that Jesus has resurrected from the death.
百合花象征神圣与纯洁。人们喜爱以在春天、复活节左右盛开的百合花来代表耶稣基督的圣洁。另外，形状像喇叭的百合花，也像是正大声宣扬耶稣基督复活的好消息。
复活节钟声
Easter bell can be heared everywhere throughout the year except Good Friday and 3 days afterwards, on the Easter Day, the bell can be reheared, symbolizing that Jesus has resurrected from the death.
在法国及意大利，除了受难节的前一天起一连四天，复活节钟声全年随处可闻，没有钟声是要提醒我们耶稣的死， 钟声在复活节主日会重鸣，提醒我们耶稣基督已复活。
十字架、钉子
The Christian cross, seen as a representation of the instrument of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, is the best-known religious symbol of Christianity. It is related to the crucifix (a cross that includes a usually three-dimensional representation of Jesus’ body) and to the more general family of cross symbols.
复活节那天，有许多人会将煮熟的蛋用颜料画上与复活节相关的图案。例如：十字架、钉子、百合花、兔子等等，装饰的五彩缤纷。然后互相交换，提醒耶稣的复活。也有人喜欢玩寻找彩蛋的游戏，大人先将彩蛋藏在花园草丛中，让小朋友们去找。找到彩蛋的人，就要说出蛋上图案的意义。比如说，十字架是耶稣为我们死在十字架上，钉子则是提醒我们耶稣基督被钉子钉在十字架上。
